Job summary

DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA seeks a part-time Student TA for DES-270-A User Research I (Savage) to support classroom activities and labs. The position requires current DigiPen enrollment and Washington residency. Weekly duties include assisting with labs, grading, and instructor coordination.

Expected August 31–December 3, 2026, at ~15 hours per week, on-site. Wage range is $17.13–$18.25 per hour, commensurate with terms worked at DigiPen.

Qualifications

Comfortable mentoring fellow students.
Arrive on time and stay focused during work hours.
Have access to a laptop during course time.
Full availability to attend lectures and labs strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting students in labs and during published office hours.
Meeting students online, if required.
Assessing lab reports using the provided guidelines.
Providing assignment feedback and grading recommendations to the instructor.
Providing constructive feedback in the grading to the students.
Timely delivery of graded reports/assignments and maintaining consistency and clarity in grading.
Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked.
