Job summary

Lipscomb University is seeking a Student Worker for the Institute for Sustainable Practice. You will identify peer-reviewed materials in sustainability, publish content using Canvas, Zoom, and Panopto, and learn basic research tools.

You will plan travel itineraries for students and graduates, document study-site metrics, and coordinate participation of top sustainability professionals by phone and email, with 15–20 hours per week at $20/hr.

Qualifications

Must be a current Lipscomb University student.
Experience in literature review and basic research tasks.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Comfort interpreting written and graphic materials across disciplines.
Willing to learn and publish content using Canvas, Zoom, Panopto and other tools.

Responsibilities

Identify peer-reviewed research and materials in sustainability topics.
Learn/publish content using Canvas, Zoom, Panopto and similar course software.
Plan student/graduate course travel itineraries and schedules.
Investigate, document and publish metrics of study sites.
Secure and coordinate participation of sustainability professionals by phone or email.
Lead/teach/host out-of-state study sites annually.
