Qualifications

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education (or higher).
• Associate degree or higher qualifies you for the role.
• Voluntary Paraeducator certification may be accepted per ESSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Report to work as scheduled on a regular, reliable basis.
• Work with challenging students in a small group setting.
• Tutor students academically and socially.
• Escort students to and from classrooms.
• Attend to personal hygiene of students as needed.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Document and keep records as required.
• Be positive, caring, and patient with students.
