Job summary

Nampa School District is seeking a Union Para Professional to support students through individual and group instruction under direction of licensed staff. The role involves preparing materials, guiding learning activities, and reinforcing classroom instruction to help students meet academic goals.

Responsibilities include monitoring work, providing feedback, and assisting in implementing interventions and behavioral supports, including collaboration with counselors and teachers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; para professional standards apply.
• Bachelor's Degree or 32 core academic credits or equivalent.
• Pass the Para Pro assessment with 460+ and CPI training.
• Experience with At-Risk students preferred; CPI training required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize materials for small group and individual instruction.
• Maintain high academic standards and expectations.
• Provide tutorial help and reinforce material as directed by teachers.
