Job summary

The Bradley School in Pittsburgh is seeking a compassionate Student Support Specialist to collaborate with educators, support individualized learning, and help create a safe, engaging classroom.

You will promote positive behavior, support social-emotional development, ensure student wellbeing, and work with multidisciplinary teams to meet diverse student needs. The school offers 12-month or 9-month roles with a comprehensive benefits package.

The Bradley School is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Student Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced educators to support student learning, promote positive behavior, and help create a safe and engaging classroom environment.


As a Student Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full intellectual, social, and emotional potential while celebrating their unique strengths and abilities.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Support individualized student learning and classroom instruction

  • Assist with planning and facilitating classroom activities

  • Foster a positive, structured, and therapeutic learning environment

  • Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development

  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and success of all students

  • Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to meet student needs


Qualifications Best Suited for the Position:

  • Minimum of 48 college credits in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required



  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
