Job summary

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with children.
• Computer skills required as needed for the position.
• Preferred: Associate degree or 60 semester hours; ParaPro or similar credential.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a teacher to create instructional materials.
• Supervise students and ensure safety and welfare throughout the school day.
• Provide classroom-related clerical support and data collection.
• Assist with instructional materials and teaching aids under teacher direction.
• Assist in supervising lunch, nap/rest periods, and mobility support as needed.
• Follow safety rules and school policies; participate in training to enhance skills.
