Job summary

Osseo Area Schools in Maple Grove, MN is seeking an Educational Support Professional - Instructional/Clerical to assist teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom. The role supports academic and social-emotional needs and may involve small group instruction and data management.

This part-time position (6 hours per day, school days) runs 8:50 am to 3:20 pm with three hours clerical and three hours instructional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
• Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
• Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
• Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
