Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in English, Mathematics, Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related fields.
• At least three years' experience in counseling and/or instructing low-income, potential first-generation students.
• Two years' experience working in a TRIO program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual/group counseling sessions for personal growth and career choice.
• Assist with cultural/educational enrichment activities.
• Monitor participant academic and social program components.

Skills

Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Education
