The PPW will work with school staff to improve attendance and access resources, documenting actions and outcomes for ongoing support and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Pupil Personnel or related field required.
• Completion of CPD credits in special education required.
• Hold or be eligible for Pupil Personnel Worker Certification (MSDE).
• Three years teaching or related experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborates with students, parents and agencies to support student success.
• Refer to appropriate agencies when additional services are needed.
• Investigates residency, custody, and enrollment issues.
• Visits homes and community facilities to address referral reasons.
• Works with homeless students under McKinney-Vento; maintains communications with schools.
• Documents PPW involvement and outcomes in reports.
