Job summary

Covelo Group is seeking an Instructional Aide in Pasadena, CA for a school-based role with a Monday–Friday schedule during school hours. The position offers both full‑time and part‑time options and pays up to $22.50 per hour.

You will support teachers during lessons, work with students individually or in groups, prepare classroom materials, supervise meals and transitions, and assist with IEP/504 learning plans. A high school diploma is required, and some college coursework is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Classroom or childcare experience preferred.
• Experience with behavioral support a plus.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Some college coursework helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers during lessons and activities.
• Work with students one‑on‑one or in groups.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials.
• Supervise lunch, recess, and transitions.
• Assist with IEP and 504 learning plans.
