Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624 is seeking a paraeducator to support students at White Bear Lake High School. You will greet students and guests, model positive behavior, and provide direct student assistance under limited supervision.

The position is 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, starting ASAP for the 26/27 School Year. A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associates/Technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and experience with adolescents.
• Associates/Technical degree preferred.
• Moderate experience working with adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with students throughout the school building.
• Greet students and guests and monitor student behavior.
• Provide student support in a variety of situations.

Salary Range: Per the Paraeducator Contract Salary Schedule ($24.13/hour)

Start Date and End Date: ASAP for the 26/27 School Year

Work Week: 7.0 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (8:00 am - 3:30 pm daily)

Position Summary

Provides vital student support during the school day by developing positive relationships with students throughout the school building. Responsibilities include greeting students and guests, modeling positive behavior, monitoring student behavior, and providing student support in a variety of situations. Student Supervisors work closely with the main office staff to provide student support. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal.

Education And /or Experience

High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with adolescents, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
