JOB GOAL: Profile of a Natick Educator

The Student Supervisors manage the arrival and dismissal of Natick High School students and provide sub coverage as needed throughout the school day. The Student Supervisors are responsible for providing adult oversight and maintaining accurate student attendance records in each of these capacities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or greater

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB (not limited to)

  • Maintains accurate student attendance records.
  • Check in all students with privileges who arrive after the 7:30 am bell.
  • Check out all students with privileges who leave before the 2:17 pm bell.
  • Direct all parents and visitors to the Main Office to check in.
  • Direct all students who arrive late or leave early to the Main Office to check in.
  • Operate the camera buzzer system in the Main Lobby, granting access to students, parents and visitors who request access during the school day.
  • Hold students accountable for their behavior throughout the building.
  • Alert administrators to all student concerns that emerge during the school day.
  • Provide sub coverage as needed in classrooms, Lecture Hall and Dining Hall.
  • Oversee the safety and maintenance of the Fitness Center.
  • Communicate and enforce Fitness Center expectations to students and staff.
  • Orient new staff and students on the proper usage and expectations for all equipment.
  • Daily cleaning of the equipment.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by the Principal or his designee.
