Responsibilities

• Assists the designated teacher(s) with individual and group supervision and behavior management of students.
• Observes, collects data, and records student behavior.
• Performs lunchroom, playground, hall, bus area, detention room, health room, and general school supervision.
• Prepares and operates audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Performs clerical activities as needed.
• Participates in staffing or parent meetings as directed.
• Assists parents and community members as needed.
• Participates in district classified assistant staff development program activities.
• Works harmoniously with others and communicates effectively with students, parents, and staff.
