Whiteville City Schools North Whiteville Academy in Whiteville, North Carolina is seeking a Student Success Tutor (Grant Funded) to provide direct instructional support and subject tutoring to help students stay on track for graduation. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, a core academic subject, or a related field.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in tutoring, teaching, or peer mentoring.
Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities

Provide Direct Instruction: Deliver individual and small-group tutoring in core academic subjects.
Build Academic Skills: Teach essential student skills. These include time management, organization, note-taking, and exam preparation.
Monitor Student Progress: Track academic performance. Identify early warning signs of academic distress.
Develop Action Plans: Create personalized learning and study plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with teachers, advisors, and counselors to ensure students access available school resources.
