Job summary

CT State Community College is seeking a SSS Program Specialist to coordinate remedial tutoring and student support in the Manchester campus. The role may involve teaching in the assigned discipline and overseeing staff and student workers.

The position is temporary, grant-funded (through 2027) and on site at CT State Manchester, with a 35-hour work week and an anticipated start in November 2026.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field with 2+ years teaching experience.
• 4+ years experience with higher education support programming.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and strong communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Program development and service delivery for the SSS program.
• New student advisement and maintenance of student records.
• Grant reporting and staff training of student workers.
