Job description

Hiring Timeline: We’re looking to bring someone on within 3–4 weeks!

About Us

At LogoLife.org, we’re redefining the college counseling experience by helping students unlock their full potential and achieve their educational goals. Through personalized strategies, expert mentorship, and hands‑on guidance, we empower the next generation of leaders, setting them up for success in an increasingly competitive admissions landscape.

We are a fast‑growing, mission‑driven startup scaling quickly. This is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to shape processes, directly impact student outcomes, and grow into a leadership position as we expand.

About the Role

We’re looking for a College Counselor (Student Success) who understands the stakes of the college journey and knows how to guide families through it with clarity, empathy, and confidence.

You’ll be the key point of contact for families, ensuring every student is supported, on track, and inspired. From onboarding to strategy meetings and progress updates, your role is equal parts relationship‑builder, communicator, problem‑solver, and growth driver.

What You’ll Do
Relationship Management & Student Success
  • Serve as the trusted guide for families from onboarding through key milestones.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships that reflect our hands‑on, mission‑first approach.
  • Proactively resolve issues and navigate family dynamics with empathy and clarity.
  • Ensure students stay on track with timelines and milestones, providing proactive check‑ins and accountability.
Account Management Operations
  • Monitor family engagement and student progress to anticipate risks and address concerns early.
  • Manage issue resolution in collaboration with counselors, mentors, and internal teams, ensuring prompt follow‑up and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of family interactions, progress updates, and success plans.
Value Delivery & Growth
  • Understand each family’s goals and priorities, tailoring support to maximize student success.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services (e.g., test prep, extra college applications, research tracks, or passion project mentoring) to add value to the student’s journey.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to highlight student success stories, case studies, referrals, and testimonials.
Qualifications

Must‑Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services or direct experience as a college counselor/consultant.
  • Strong understanding of holistic college admissions, profile development, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, warm, clear, and confident in navigating family relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple students/families at once, staying organized under pressure.
  • Passion for student growth, access, and long‑term impact.

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience in both account management and college counseling (ideal).
  • Background in education, admissions consulting, or working with high‑achieving students.
  • Knowledge of STEM‑focused students and selective summer programs.
  • Experience supporting high‑achieving, mission‑driven young people.
Why Join Us?
  • Be Part of Something Bigger: Join a fast‑growing, mission‑driven startup that’s redefining the college counseling experience and making a real difference in students’ lives.
  • A Platform for Growth: This isn’t just a job, it’s an opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly scaling company. For the right candidate, this role is a springboard into leadership, with the potential to build and lead a team as we expand.
  • Your Work Matters: At LogoLife, your contributions have a direct impact on families and students, helping them navigate one of the most important journeys of their lives.
  • Collaborative, Innovative Team: Work with a passionate, purpose‑driven team that values creativity, ownership, and your ideas.
  • Shared Success: As the company grows, so will your opportunities. Full‑time potential and shares mean you’ll be directly rewarded for the impact you create.

If you’re ready to help us create meaningful change in the lives of students and families, we’d love to hear from you!
