College of Charleston Libraries invites applications for the Student Success Librarian, a tenure-track faculty position dedicated to innovative library instruction and student engagement. The role centers on collaborating with campus partners to promote information literacy and support retention, persistence, and graduation goals.

The successful candidate will develop credit-bearing and point-of-need instruction, outreach for first-year and transfer students, and ongoing professional growth

Qualifikationen

• MLS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program.
• Demonstrated experience with information literacy instruction.
• Strong engagement with diverse student populations and campus partners.

Aufgaben

• Cultivate relationships with campus units to support student success.
• Collaborate with the Office for Student Success to analyze data and target outreach.
• Develop outreach programming and workshops for first-year, transfer, and at-promise students.
• Design and deliver credit-bearing library instruction aligned with the ACRL Framework.
• Provide expert research assistance and point-of-need instruction in person and online.
• Participate in library-wide assessment activities to evaluate instruction programs.
