Job summary

The College of Business at Oregon State University invites applications for fixed-term, non-tenure track Instructors to teach Student Success courses for the 2026-2027 academic year. Appointments are term-by-term and may be renewed at the Dean's discretion.

The instructor will contribute to curriculum development, classroom management, and Student Success initiatives within the program. The position requires a master's degree and a commitment to inclusive teaching, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Master's degree required from an accredited university.
• Experience supporting students in higher education.
• Commitment to educational equity and diverse perspectives.
• Proven teaching experience at college level or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; inclusive language.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• High computer proficiency; MS Office; OSU systems knowledge.
• Criminal history check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Student Success courses using inclusive practices.
• Develop course materials, curriculum, assessments, and activities.
• Plan and implement student success initiatives and orientation.
• Provide mentoring and holistic support to students.
• Participate in service activities advancing DEI and student success.
