Sylvania is seeking a Student Achievement Advisor to support school and district initiatives. The role is full-time, onsite, and focuses on fostering student belonging, coordinating peer leadership, and connecting families with resources.

Responsibilities include attending multiple meetings, supporting student conferences, and aiding transitions for new students. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience to equal 12 years.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with parents, staff, administration, and community.
• Fluency in a language other than English desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend site-level, district-level, and district-wide meetings and trainings.
• Participate in SIP, RIT, and MTSS teams.
• Support school activities and events.
• Maintain active presence in cafeteria, hallways, and during passing times.
• Foster belonging and student voice for diverse backgrounds.
• Meet with administrative teams as needed.
• Develop and coordinate peer leadership programming.
• Monitor data aligned with SIP goals.
• Serve as liaison between school and home for diverse families.
• Assist with new student transitions.
• Refer students to appropriate supports beyond the role.
