Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire seeks an Educational Talent Search Advisor/Coordinator to support middle and high school students across partner schools, providing targeted academic, career and financial literacy guidance, including financial aid information.

The role involves maintaining program records, preparing data submissions and progress reports, and collaborating with school personnel and community partners to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Education, Counseling or Human Services; two years’ relevant experience with middle/high school students or a Bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience.
• Experience using a variety of computer applications.
• Attention to detail in data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and provide services to 265 middle and high school students in target area.
• Provide educational, career, college, financial literacy and financial aid information.
• Deliver individual and group academic advising.
• Resolve problems of program participants with advocacy and assistance.
