Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking a programs coordinator to manage and provide comprehensive services for middle and high school students across partner schools, delivering targeted academic, career, and financial literacy guidance, including financial aid advising, to empower students to graduate and enroll in college.

You will maintain accurate records, prepare data submissions and progress reports, and collaborate with school personnel and community partners to support student

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Education, Counseling or Human Services with minimum experience requirements.
  • Experience using a variety of computer applications and data systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select and provide services to middle school and high school students in target area.
  • Provide educational, career, college, financial literacy and financial aid information.
  • Provide academic support and advising, individually and in groups.
  • Resolve problems of program participants using appropriate advocacy and assistance.
  • Collect data for program and USDE reports; maintain records and files on participants.
  • Work with school personnel and other professional organizations to improve services.
  • Attend seminars, staff meetings and workshops.
  • Plan, organize and implement college visits, job site tours and experiences for participants.
  • Establish contact with parents via workshops, meetings, email and telephone as needed.
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as needed.
