University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Student Manager for softball for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role supports the softball program with equipment, field setup, and laundry, reporting to the Softball Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience catching in a bullpen at high school or college level.
• Ability to catch pitches 55–70 MPH with accuracy, receive, block and throw.
• Must be a UT Austin student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fundamentals of practice (catch bullpen, front toss, etc.).
• Set up and clean up of all equipment and stations before and after practice.
• Wash practice laundry.
• Follow all NCAA, conference and team rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Consistently exemplify Texas Athletics core values and ethical standards.
