Job summary

Auburn University COSAM seeks a student social media coordinator to support our social channels with creative, accurate content that highlights students, faculty, research and campus life. You'll plan, write, and publish platform-appropriate posts, capture events, edit graphics and video, and help analyze performance while maintaining branding and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Ability to write concise, engaging social copy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and calendars.
• Willingness to attend events and capture content as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, schedule and publish content for COSAM's social media platforms.
• Write captions and adapt messaging per platform and audience.
• Develop student-focused content covering classes, research, events and campus life.
• Capture photos and short-form video at COSAM events.
• Create and edit graphics, videos, reels and stories.
