Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX is seeking an Advancement Student Social Media Assistant to support the Office of Advancement’s digital messaging. You will create, schedule, and publish content, monitor engagement, and assist with fundraising communications.

This internship-level role offers collaboration with the Marketing team and opportunities to build practical skills in social media strategy, content creation, and analytics while balancing academic commitments.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled as a full-time student in good academic standing.
Coursework or pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field preferred.
Open to freshman, sophomore, junior and senior-level students.

Responsibilities

Create, schedule, and publish content across the Office of Advancement’s social media platforms.
Monitor social media channels and respond to routine comments, messages, and inquiries.
Serve as the liaison between the Advancement and Marketing teams to coordinate content requests and campaigns.
Support promotion of fundraising initiatives, donor engagement activities, events, and university programs through social media.
Maintain the social media content calendar and assist with campaign planning.
Gather and manage photos, videos, and other digital assets for social media use.
Track social media performance metrics and prepare basic reports on audience engagement and campaign effectiveness.
