Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, communications, student services or related field; OR bachelor's degree and minimum of two years of experience in education, communications, student services or related field. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
• Demonstrated experience establishing relationships and collaborating collegially and effectively with a wide range of students, faculty, staff and administrators and the community.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; highly effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience in organizing and managing work, supervising staff effectively, meeting deadlines, and solving problems independently and swiftly.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource and advocate for students (20%)
• Coordinates and directs graduation-related events and student related events for the SoDM (20%)
• Manages student communications (15%)
• Oversees functions of all SoDM student organizations (15%)
• Manages student travel budget and related travel logistics for professional meetings (15%)
• Manages student housing program for D4 students rotations (10%)
• Compliance (5%)
• Occasional evening and weekend work is required to support student-related activities and functions.
