Student Services Counselor – Online Division – Grand Canyon University - Remote Phoenix, AZ

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated counselor to work with online students, advising on degree requirements, course selection, and financial counseling. Starting salary is $43,000 per year, with potential earnings up to $70,000 after several years. Benefits include 100% tuition-free education for employees at the Master's level and 75% coverage at the Doctorate level, plus tuition benefits for spouses, children, and dependents.

Location & Training: Remote within Phoenix, AZ. Initial training includes three weeks: one week in-person at our Phoenix campus and two weeks virtually via Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Counseling students on university policies, payment options, and academic progress, including financial clearance and funding strategies.
2. Providing exceptional service to prospective students through various communication channels, promoting student success and institutional growth.
3. Advocating for students, ensuring compliance, and intervening as needed to keep students on track for graduation.

Candidate Requirements:
