Job summary

Hill 35 is seeking a Coordinator of Student Services to lead and coordinate student support across K-12 campuses. The role collaborates with school leaders, counselors, and partners to promote academic and social-emotional success, collecting and analyzing data to guide resources and decisions.

Strong emphasis is on equity, safety, and compliance with regulations. The position requires a Master's in counseling or related field, with leadership and school counseling credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related field.
• Teaching or leadership certification preferred.
• Experience in K-12 student services advantageous.
• Knowledge of MTSS and district policies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus administrator and district leadership to develop, implement, and monitor student services programs.
• Demonstrate knowledge in health services, safety, and counseling programs.
• Facilitate staff development in the student services areas.
• Assist in development and review of policies related to student discipline, attendance, mental health services, and crisis response.
• Support campuses in managing critical incidents, including threat assessments, crisis response, and reentry planning.
• Advocate for equitable access to services for diverse students, including those with disabilities, English learners, and students experiencing homelessness or foster care placement.
• Collaborate with the MTSS Coordinator and Director of Counseling to align counseling, emotional, behavioral, mental health, and other student support services withing the district's Whole Child Guidelines and other district initiatives.
• Support campuses in connecting counseling services and other student supports to identified needs through the MTSS process, including assisting campus teams in identifying appropriate Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 supports and coordinating referrals and resources as needed.
• Provide consultation and problem-solving support to campus administrators, counselors, and student support teams related to student behavioral, emotional, mental health, attendance, and other non-academic needs, while coordinating with the appropriate district department or program.
• Analyze student services data (e.g., attendance, behavior, counseling, safety referrals, health services data) to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
• Oversee efforts of Truancy/Attendance Specialists
