Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Experience in a school or childcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report difficulties or unusual problems to teachers and staff.
• Stand, walk, and stoop for prolonged periods.
• Direct students in gathering materials for activities.
• Address safety factors when weather or other circumstances occur.
• Immediately report injuries or problems to professional staff.
• Convey positive communication with students.
• Restrict inappropriate behavior among students.
• Dismiss classes in an orderly manner at scheduled times.
• Inspect the playground daily and address hazards.
• Respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Administer first aid when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
