Job summary

BASIS Peoria is seeking a Part-Time Monitor to start ASAP. The role involves monitoring student activities during lunches, recesses, and before/after school, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior. Requires: High school diploma or higher and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Prior experience in a school or child care setting is preferred. Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 1:00pm and 2:30pm - 4:30pm. Salary is competitive and dependent on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or higher.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure safety.
• Oversee students during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before/after school.
• Report unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform supervisor of any damages to school property.
• Respond to emergencies with urgency.
• Exercise sound judgement in carrying out duties.
• Assist in front office support, as applicable.
• Maintain regular, full attendance.
• Supervise individual students or groups during structured and unstructured times.
