Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Student Respiratory Therapist to join our Hillcrest Hospital South team. You will perform patient assessments, assist with treatments and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to support cardiopulmonary care.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing therapy under supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety and licensing requirements, including BLS and Oklahoma RCP licensing timelines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or completed Respiratory Associate degree program.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma RCP license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Responsible for providing care which includes assessment, treatment, control diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
• Consults with physicians.
• Provides consultation, instruction and/or technical direction of medical, nursing and other staff members.

Job Requirements:

• ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
