Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies within student scope of practice.
• Assess, implement, evaluate, and document respiratory care per HMC standards under departmental supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served.
• Administer oxygen, various treatments, and manage ventilators.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practice Act regulations.
• Show awareness and sensitivity in end-of-life patient care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program in Oklahoma.
• Eligible for a provisional RCP Student license.
