Stride, Inc. is seeking a Student Resource Coordinator for Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy to support families in crisis and address social-emotional needs affecting student achievement.

This full-time, home-based role requires collaboration with teachers, administrators, and external partners to coordinate services and facilitate interventions. Candidates should hold a Master’s in social work or related field, have one year of field experience, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field required.
• One year of documented social work field experience required.
• Social work education coursework including Human Behavior in the Social Environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains caseload of students/families referred for additional support.
• Provides brief assessments to develop an action plan with students and families.
• Facilitates family intervention meetings with families in crisis or with multi-dimensional needs.
• Serves as point-of-contact for teachers and administration for families in crisis; coordinates with external agencies as needed.
• Facilitates character education programming and other training for the faculty and school community.
• Maintains active awareness of local community resources within school boundaries.
