Undergraduate Student Research Assistant position in the Fruit and Vegetable Entomology Lab at Ohio State University (Wooster, OH). This is a part‑time (up to 38 hrs./wk.) position. Start date is May 2026; ending in summer/fall 2026.

Responsibilities

Individuals will assist on a broad selection of pest management projects, including:

• Vegetable pest management
• Pollinator health
• Invasive species monitoring

Qualifications

• Interest in agricultural science, especially pest management
• Must have a driver's license and be able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized in a variety of environments
• Previous experience conducting lab or field research is preferable but not required

Students will be permitted to work 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.

Location: Wooster Science Building (8002), Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences campus.
