Job summary

Utah Valley University invites applications from motivated UVU students to join its department as a research and administrative support student. You will gather, clean, and enter data, and assist with transcription, coding, surveys, focus groups, and data collection efforts.

Additionally, you will help in producing data summaries and support the department’s social media posts and digital signs. Must be a current UVU student with a TEELS award for 2026-2027 working with the College of Science.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, compiling, cleaning and/or entering data
• Assisting with transcription and/or coding of qualitative data
• Assisting in programming, coordinating, and conducting survey research, focus groups and other data collection efforts
• Cleaning and analyzing data
• Assisting in producing, cleaning, and analyzing data files
• Producing summaries of data from data sets
• Assists with department’s social media posts and digital signs
