SUMMARY: Currently searching for one Part-Time Graduate Student Assistant to work in the "Validation of Short -and Long-Term Oven Aging Procedures" research project, under the supervision of Dr. Nicole G. Elias, Co-Principal Investigator.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

The part-time student assistant will be working on data analysis and statistical modeling; pavement/Civil Engineering background is not required. Tasks include data analysis, equality-line assessment, ANOVA, interaction analysis, Tukey pairwise comparisons, Two One-Sided Tests (TOST), possible machine learning, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must be a Cal Poly Student
• Experience in statistical analysis and statistical software (e.g. R Studio)
• Excellent English verbal communication and writing skills
• Responsible and dependable
• Ability to work well with various people including students, faculty, staff, and high-level administrators
• Motivated, innovative, and shows initiative
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and instructional design with Canvas and Kaltura

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Minitab statistical software
