Qualifications

• Current ASU undergraduate STEM student in good academic standing.
• Interest in biology, data science, bioinformatics, or related STEM research.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with NSF HBCU-UP TIP BIOFORCE Grant research activities.
• Participate in biology, data science, bioinformatics, microbiology, genomics research.
• Assist with laboratory activities, data collection, analysis and documentation.
• Perform literature searches and review scientific information.
• Maintain accurate research records and project files.
• Attend research meetings, trainings, and related activities.
• Assist with preparing posters, presentations and reports.
• Follow laboratory safety and guidelines.
• Support grant objectives as assigned.
