Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is hiring a Registrar of Student Services and Information Services to lead districtwide student registration, residency verification, and enrollment. This role serves as the primary PowerSchool liaison and oversees SIS data integrity and reporting compliance.

You will train school staff, coordinate with the Business Office and Technology Department, and ensure district procedures meet state laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Education, Technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Demonstrated experience with PowerSchool SIS or similar student information systems
• Experience in K–12 school district data, attendance, enrollment, or SIS reporting

Responsibilities

• Oversee districtwide student registration and enrollment processes
• Review and verify enrollment documentation per district/state requirements
• Confirm residency within district attendance boundaries
• Collaborate with families, registrars, and admin on residency and enrollment compliance
• Maintain accurate student demographic, enrollment, residency, and withdrawal records
• Support transfers, records requests, and student record management
• Provide training and technical assistance to school staff on SIS procedures
• Develop and maintain registration procedures and compliance documents
• Manage PowerSchool reports and configurations
• Troubleshoot PowerSchool issues for staff and families
• Provide Level 2 technical support for district systems
