UC Health is hiring a per-diem Student Radiology Technologist for the Radiology Department at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Communicates clearly and appropriately with patients and staff, responding to varying needs.
• Assists the Radiologic Technologist or Special Procedures Technologist in performing diagnostic examinations, patient care, and transport.
• Prepares labels and containers for contrast administration.
• Researches patient's previous exams and reports, keeps family informed, and supports patients who may experience anxiety.
• Performs clerical work such as answering phone calls, processing paperwork, and managing study functions in QuadRIS and PACS systems.
• Maintains clean and orderly examination rooms, cleans instruments, observes safety policies, and ensures MRI instruments are non-magnetic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in a radiology technology program.
