Job summary

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a Student Radiology Technologist in Nebraska. The student will be supervised while providing prescribed imaging and patient care per protocol, up to the level of documented competency.

Duties may include other tasks as assigned, with a maximum schedule of 24 hours per week. In the operating room, imaging is not permitted unless a registered radiologic technologist is in the room.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current enrollment in the second year of Radiologic Technologist training from an AMA-approved school is required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, provide prescribed imaging and patient care per protocol up to documented competency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Scheduled to work no more than 24 hours per week.
• Student Technologist may not perform imaging in the operating room unless a registered technologist is present.

Education
