Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in an accredited radiography program with anticipated completion date.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and radiographic exams under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies and contrast medications.
• Work in compliance with the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.
• Position patients for procedures as directed by a licensed Radiologic Technologist; perform basic patient care tech responsibilities.
• Demonstrate understanding of terminology, processes and regulations relating to Diagnostic Imaging.
• Collect patient data under the direction of licensed personnel.
