Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required at hire.
• Minimum 12 months of study in a JRCERT‑accredited radiology program at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing imaging examinations (X-ray, CT, MRI) under supervision.
• Learn patient positioning and contribute to positive patient experiences.
• Follow radiologist protocols and safety guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives.
• Adhere to standard precautions and PPE at all times.
• Support and report compliance issues as needed.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands‑on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.

Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Assist with procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.

Pay Range

$18.06 - $25.51 /hour
