Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro, AR, seeks an aspiring radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under supervision, operating complex imaging equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in a JRCERT-approved program.
• Must be currently enrolled in a Radiology program.
• This is a safety sensitive position; follow Substance Abuse Policy.
• Exposure to radiological hazards; able to operate imaging equipment and assist with patient monitoring.

• Perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures by operating complex imaging equipment.

Education

Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in a school approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology and must meet approved requirements for registry by the ARRT.

    • Exposure to radiological hazard-occupational levels. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates computer,image processing, x-ray, MRI, patient monitoring. Lifting up to 50lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking and bending.
