Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Virtual Office Manager for our community partner, the Racial Unity Team. The Officer Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the Racial Unity Team, gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit administration. Working under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the intern will assist in a variety of administrative functions such as scheduling, data management, communication, and event logistics. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization while developing valuable skills for future professional environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document organization.
  • Manage internal calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for events and calls.
  • Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Maintain and update contact lists and donor databases with attention to accuracy.
  • Assist with event coordination including registration tracking, materials preparation, and communications.
  • Support research, data collection, and other special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and reliable work ethic
  • Interest in nonprofit work, education, or racial equity is a plus

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
