Overview

Newman University – Student - Orientation Day Leader. Part Time, Wichita, KS. The Student Affairs Department is looking for energetic and outgoing student team members with a strong commitment to the University and a passion for sharing their campus experience and expertise with prospective students, families and other guests visiting Newman University on August 22nd during Orientation Day from 8:00am – 4:00PM. Compensation will include $150.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet new students as they arrive.


• Assist new students with locating check-in materials.


• Be a tour guide leading students or groups to and from locations.


• Build relationships with new students.


• Answer frequently asked questions from new students.


• Be energetic and lively about the start of the new school year.

Requirements

• Attend training with Orientation Supervisor prior to the event.


• Dress in a University-issued shirt and jeans for the day.


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
