Job summary

The University of Kentucky’s MLK Center seeks a Senior Program Specialist to help implement programs and campus-wide initiatives. Under the Director’s supervision, you will manage operations, supervise students, monitor budgets, and collaborate with campus partners to advance student success and engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 3 years related paid work experience in student affairs or supervision.
• Preferred degree in Student Affairs or Higher Education.
• Familiarity with other languages.

Responsibilities

• Implement programs and campus-wide initiatives under supervision of the Director.
• Supervise students and resources as part of program delivery.
• Track and monitor program budgets and financials.
• Oversee event management, assessment and program delivery.
• Help develop curriculum, coordinate and present co-curricular initiatives with academic units.
• Serve as staff advisor for select student organizations.
• Collaborate with campus departments, community partners and other universities to raise awareness of programs.
