Job summary

Friendship is seeking Full-Time Student Nursing Assistants for a paid training class. The role supports residents with daily care under an interdisciplinary team, beginning with classroom instruction and clinicals in late October.

After completing the course, the position offers a 2nd shift schedule and opportunities to contribute to care plans and feeding assistance. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for education assistance, life insurance, and more

Qualifications

• Must attend all class sessions.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift.
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day; may lift or move objects over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, making a difference in accordance with each resident's plan of care
• Assist resident with daily personal care, bath and bathroom functions
• Maintain records of resident care and condition
• Assist resident with toileting, walking, repositioning, sitting, and standing with or without the use of medical equipment
• Comply with resident care plans, utilizing the kardex for guidance
• Report any injuries, skin conditions, or other changes to residents' condition/behavior to supervisor immediately
• Prepare, serve, and provide feeding assistance as necessary to include but not limited to set-up

Friendship is accepting applications for Full-Time Student Nursing Assistants. We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of others. This is a paid training class! Our CNAs provide the highest quality of care and excellent customer service!

Class/Clinical Schedule:

• Classroom Instruction: October 26th - November 13th, Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
• Clinical: November 16th - November 20th, Monday - Friday from 6:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Shift Available After Completion of the Course:

• 2nd shift only - hours are 2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m.
