SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to a registered nurse for performing basic bedside care and activities of daily living procedures. The student nurse trainee will be assigned to a designated unit and partnered with a patient care assistant until training completion. Students must commit to a two week orientation period. Student nurse trainee will be expected to work 12 hours per quarter in order ensure they are up-to-date with organizational procedures and processes and to continue in the program.

Our student nurse trainee program is a wonderful way for a student in an ASN or BSN program, who has completed their first clinicals, to gain experience in a clinical setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Nursing student of an accredited Nursing Program and one clinical rotation, or a Graduate Nurse without Boards required.
