Job summary

Boone Health is seeking a Nursing student (RN or BSN) for a flexible PRN role across multiple departments including PCU, Cardiology, Medical Specialties, Oncology/Neurology, Orthopedics and Surgical Specialties. The position focuses on direct patient care under RN supervision and supports patient/family education.

Graduates entering May 2027 through December 2028 are encouraged to apply, with weekend/holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited RN or BSN program.
• No experience required.
• PRN availability, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists nurse with patient and family education.
• Documents all patient care activities provided.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse.
• Collects clinical data and information on patients, and documents appropriately.
• Instructs patients in preparations for tests and procedures.
