Responsibilities

• Contribute to the assessment of the health status of patients.
• Assist patients with medications, meals, personal needs, and wound dressings.
• Act as a liaison between patients and care teams.
• Communicate patient information to the treatment team under the Charge Nurse's guidance.
• Develop skills in a diverse environment.
• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing education and stay within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a full-time nursing program (Baccalaureate, RN Associate Degree, or LPN to RN program).

• Active CNA license in the state of application.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
