Responsibilities

• Contribute to the assessment of the health status of patients.
• Assist patients with medications, meals, personal needs, and wound dressings.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and care teams.
• Communicate patient information to the treatment team under supervision.
• Develop skills in a diverse environment.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, including inventory and transport.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing education and stay within scope of practice.

Qualifications

Education: Currently enrolled and in good standing in a full-time Nursing Program (Baccalaureate, RN Associate Degree, or LPN to RN).

Licenses & Certifications: Active CNA license in the state of application and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
